Focused Women's Ministry is an international women's ministry with a heart for ladies in all stages of life around the world.  We mentor and empower ladies who are married, single, widowed, divorced, women who have undergone abuse, and have been through other painful experiences.  Our ministry's main goal is to empower these ladies to focus on God and to ensure that:

1. Women discover their identity in Christ.

2. Women get inspiring mentorship.

3. Women recognize and use their God-given gifts and talents to further the kingdom of God.

 

Brand Story

 

Laura Richter is the founder of Focused Women's Ministry.  She is married to a great man of God.  They serve the Lord together winning souls to Christ, preaching the true doctrine of God, and healing people by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Their ultimate desire is to bring glory and honor to their Lord and Savior.

 

Focused Women's Ministry was born thanks to two aspects in Laura's walk of life.  One, looking back at her painful life experiences and how far God has brought her.  There's a way she relates with women who seem to be undergoing similar experiences.  As a woman who has been traveling around the world for mission work, she has developed a heart’s desire for women’s ministry.  Laura truly loved God since she was a young child, and she still loves Him to date.  She has travelled to as far as China to spread the Gospel of the Lord.

 

Two, God called her into this ministry through His healing power during one of her ministration services at a conference in Manaus in 2022.  It was at this powerful Pentecostal Church of God conference where God spoke to Laura and called her into world-wide women's ministry.  During this conference, as she was ministering to and praying with ladies concerning their different needs.  A lady, who was just a guest in one of the churches, received healing.  The woman came from the streets and was present in the church when Laura and her husband were ministering.  This was just the beginning as many other women came to Laura for prayer throughout the rest of the mission trip.  She ministered in different churches in Brazil and the Lord proved Himself powerful.  It was then that the Spirit of the Lord spoke to Laura concerning her call to women's ministry, not just in Brazil but also in other nations all over the world.  During this powerful conference, she was able to meet women ministers from other nations and she was invited to minister to women in Africa and the Philippines.  What a great God Laura serves!!!

 

Laura Richter went through many heartbreaking experiences since her childhood days to the time that God faithfully made a positive turnaround in her life. She gave her life to Christ when she was 7 years old and always yearned to be in the presence of God. Laura was an active member in the church as a young girl and as a teen. She served the Lord wholeheartedly and always had a desire to witness about God to single mothers, children and other people.

Recovery Story

Laura's recovery story is one that God is using today to heal, encourage, and inspire other women.  She was able to free herself from the trauma of painful life experiences by the power of forgiveness.  She has recovered from the trauma of sexual abuse, an awful experience that she suffered when she was only two years old.  Laura suffered physical, mental, emotional, and verbal abuse in her first marriage, but God had healed her and done a miraculous work in her life.  She is a great woman of God who has overcome self-doubt, self-pity, self-denial, codependency, and the fear of being alone.

 

Laura's daughters suffered the same fate as her.  They were both sexually abused and as a mother, she stood by her daughters and helped them through their recovery period.  She got justice for both of her daughters single-handedly and forgave the offender, a step that only the strong can take.

 

Laura went through the agony of losing everything she owned more than once but she trusted in the Lord's provision.  She was always thankful to God amid the losses for keeping all her family members safe.  Today, God has faithfully restored everything that she lost in abundance.

 

Laura is a living testimony of God's healing power.  She once developed challenges that made hearing regular conversations difficult for her.  Laura's faith in God's word directed her to the scriptures.  She confessed a powerful verse over her life, 3 John 1:2, and the Lord healed her!  What a great woman of faith!  God also healed her during one of the healing services in church.  Laura, who often needed assistance via a wheelchair due to a sickness, rose on her feet shouting, dancing, and singing praises to the Lord.  She has never used a wheelchair again from that moment to date.

 

From the fear of being alone to divorce and rejection, Laura is now happily married to a great man of God.  They travel to nations for mission work and God has met the desires of His people through them.

 

With all that she has been through, Laura wants to create an awareness in women so that they can know that they are not alone.  She wants to help women in abusive marriages, who are divorced, single mothers, women whose children have been abused, and women with different scars to look beyond their fears.  Laura is focused on setting women around the world on fire for Jesus.

3. Focused Women's Ministry wants to stir up God given gifts and talents in women and to set them on fire.  To help them recognize their gifts and to mentor them to use these gifts for the glory of the Lord.

 

4. The ministry is focused on educating women about their worth, their identity, and how they can recover their lives, hearts, and happiness in God's love.

 

5. Focused Women's Ministry is in existence to draw women closer to God, to help them to fully rely on Him, to inspire them to focus on the significance of the cross, and to practically apply God's word in their lives.
